Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for an Hourly Cleaner. Under supervision, performs manual work involving cleaning, moving and general upkeep. Examples of duties include sweep, mop, strip and wax floors; clean lavatories and kitchens; move furniture and boxes; trim lawns and shovel snow; wash windows; change light bulbs; replace ceiling tiles; and empty trash. May involve heavy lifting and working outdoors.Qualifications: Preferred familiarity with cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment. Require ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction; willingness to perform annual tasks; thoroughness; dependability; honesty; physical condition commensurate with demands of the position.
