A maintainer position is available for the District. Responsibilities include but are not limited to perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks requiring knowledge of one or more trades. Paints building surfaces; repairs of plumbing, heating and fixtures; install a variety of electrical equipment and fixtures and wiring; and uses a variety of hand and power tools.Additional consideration will be given to experience/licensing and qualifications around HVAC, Electrical work, Plumbing and general construction. Per Civil Service regulations must have graduated from a vocational or trade school and one (1) year experience in performing general or specialized maintenance and repair tasks in buildings, and on various types of machinery, equipment, furniture and tools OR Three (3) years of satisfactory experience as outlined above.
