The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking teacher aides for our K-12 Special Education Programs. High school degree or the equivalent is required; college experience or degree preferred. Candidate must have the ability to implement classroom routines and work with children effectively. Duties include supervising one or more children in class activities under the supervision of certified staff; Assists in the general management of children during outdoor activities and during the daily arrival and departure of students; Assists teacher in setting up room before daily activities, meeting the needs of individual students and providing general physical and safety support for students with disabilities.
