The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant for a full-time (1.0) probationary position at our middle school. Responsibilities include working with students individually and in small group settings and directly supporting teachers in their work with students. In addition to providing academic and socio-emotional support, teaching assistants will support students in their acquisition of executive functioning skills. A NYS Teaching Assistant certification is required. The salary for the position is $41,000 – pro-rated if the candidate begins after August 27, 2025.
