The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time (1.0) probationary position at Pleasantville High School. New York State certification as a School Psychologist is required. Preference will be given to individuals with school-based experience.Job Responsibilities include:Chair CSE meetings and attend Section 504 meetings, and complete all necessary IEP documentsProvide evidence-based group and individual counseling to students with IEPs, Section 504 Plans, and building-level counseling servicesComplete psychological evaluations and write integrated reports to present at CSE meetingsCreate SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progressCollaborate actively on developing and implementing students’ IEPs; review and discuss student issues, profiles, and progress with team membersWork collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, other related service personnel, outside providers, and families to review and discuss student progressSupervise school psychology internsParticipate in problem-solving with school counselors and administrators through Child Study TeamJoin district-wide psychology didactics and DBT consultation teamProvide direct intervention and counseling to students on demand and in crisesLetter of interest, resume, certification(s), and transcript must be attached to the OLAS application.Pleasantville Union Free School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
