The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time (1.0) leave replacement position at Pleasantville High School for an immediate opening. Preference will be given to individuals with school-based experience. New York State certification is required.Job Responsibilities include the following:Chair CSE meetings and attend Section 504 meetings, and complete all necessary IEP documentsProvide evidence-based group and individual counseling to students with IEPs, Section 504 Plans, and building-level counseling servicesComplete psychological evaluations and write integrated reports to be presented at CSE meetingsCreate SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progressCollaborate actively on developing and implementing students’ IEPs; review and discuss student issues, profiles, and progress with team members.Work collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, other related service personnel, administrators, outside providers, and familiesSupervise school psychology internsProvide direct intervention and counseling to students on demand and in crisis situations.Pleasantville Union Free School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please apply online in OLAS and attach a letter of interest, application, resume, and certification(s) Anticipated Start Date: TBD
