The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a full-time School Nurse to perform professional nursing services at the Bedford Road School (Elementary). Responsibilities include maintaining acceptable health standards, school health records, and emergency treatment of students in accordance with state laws and district policies.QUALIFICATIONS· NY State Registered Professional Nurse Certification required· Pediatric and School Nurse experience preferred· Experience working in schools with students with diabetes, severe allergies, seizures and other medical conditions preferred· Excellent communication skills with students, parents, faculty, staff and administration· Up to date CPR certification required.
