We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Principal to lead our school and inspire our students and staff.Job Description: The Principal will be responsible for the overall administration and leadership of the school. This includes developing and implementing educational programs, managing staff, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student achievement, staff development, and community engagement.Key Responsibilities:Provide instructional leadership and support to teachers and staff.Develop and implement school policies, programs and curriculum.Foster a positive school culture that promotes student engagement and success.Oversee the daily operations of the school, including budgeting and resource allocation.Collaborate with parents, community members and other stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.Lead professional development initiatives for staff.Monitor and evaluate student performance and implement strategies for improvement.Qualifications:Valid New York State Building Leader (SBL) certification.Master’s degree in education or a related field.Minimum of five years of teaching experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of middle school education and adolescent development.Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive school environment.Salary: To be determinedEffective Date: July 1, 2025In addition to applying on OLAS.
