The Pine Bush Central School District anticipates following vacancies for 2024 Summer School Program-Secondary High School, all temporary position starting on July 8 - August 15, 2024, Monday - Thursday at the high school level:Algebra I Teachers; English Teachers, Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12; Living Environment Teachers; Social Studies Teachers, Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12; Special Education Teachers Grades 9-12; Physical Education TeacherQualifications: Must hold appropriate NYS certification.Responsibilities: Conduct classes and complete lesson plans to cover area of instruction according to NYS requirements; Maintain accurate student attendance records according to procedures outlined by summer school administration; Establish immediate home contact for student not meeting the requirements; Administer final examination. Salary: $2,200 per class of (2) two hours. Additional hourly rate of $50 for administering and scoring the August Regents exam on August 19 and 20th, where applicable.
