The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2025 - 2026 school year:1.0 FTE Teaching AssistantAnticipated Assignment: Middle School7:20am - 2:45pm, M - Th 7:20am - 2:08pm, FridayResponsibilities May Include:Assist teachers in integrating instructional technology tools and resources into their curriculum in alignment with the NYS Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards.Collaborate with teachers to identify their specific technology needs and help them find suitable solutions that align with the District Instructional Technology Goals.Provide guidance and support to teachers in utilizing various software, applications, and online platforms for instructional purposes.Create and maintain instructional resources, tutorials, and user guides for teachers to reference, as needed.Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and trends to provide recommendations and insights to teachers.Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for both teachers and students regarding the use of technology in education.Help evaluate and recommend new instructional technology tools and resources based on their potential to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
