The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2025-2026 school year: Full-time Social WorkerAnticipated Assignment: Elementary assignment, currentlyResponsibilities May Include: Assist students/families with social, emotional, and related behavioral health needsUse accepted practices and provide individual, group, and family therapyRefer students/families, as needed, to other services/departments, and participate in the transfer toother levels of care as appropriateCoordinate various activity and treatment programs with other agencies/departmentsMaintain up-to-date information on community and health resourcesAttend and participate in faculty/staff meetings and other district committeesMaintain accurate and timely documentationUtilize computer skills to enter assessment treatment planning and case notes, and prepare notifications and correspondenceMeet productivity standards as determined by administrationOrganize work effectively and efficientlyDemonstrate sound judgment and practice within ethical parametersExhibit computer proficiency in the maintenance of student records (typing, keyboard skills, & e-mail ability)Other duties per contract
