The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2022 - 2023 school year:Full-Time Social WorkerAnticipated Assignment:• Pre-K-12 Program• Up to 35 hours per week, work schedule/location may varyResponsibilities May Include:• Assist students/families with social, emotional, and related behavioral health needs• Use accepted practices and provide individual, group, and family therapy• Refer students/families, as needed, to other services/departments, and participate in the transfer to other levels of care as appropriate• Coordinate various activity and treatment programs with other agencies/departments• Maintain up-to-date information on community and health resources • Attend and participate in faculty/staff meetings and other district committees• Maintain accurate and timely documentation• Utilize computer skills to enter assessment treatment planning and case notes, and prepare notifications and correspondence• Meet productivity standards as determined by administration• Organize work effectively and efficiently• Demonstrate sound judgment and practice within ethical parameters• Exhibit computer proficiency in the maintenance of student records (typing, keyboard skills, & e-mail ability)• Other duties per contractCompensation: • $49,915 - $72,855, commensurate with qualifications and experience Individuals interested in this posting should hold appropriate licenses/certifications.
