The Pelham School District is looking for a: INTERIM PELHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL We are seeking a visionary, collaborative, and inspirational Interim Middle School Assistant Principal committed to partnering with the Principal to foster continuous improvement and ensure whole-child success. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital member of the leadership team, excelling at driving instructional excellence, maintaining an inclusive environment, leveraging data, and building strong, productive relationships with all stakeholders in support of the school’s shared vision. Candidates must possess the following qualifications: NYS School Administrator Certification required. Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience. Expert-level knowledge of NYS learning standards and instructional best practices. Proven ability to implement and champion research-based practices, innovation, and authentic learning experiences. Track record of using data to help drive a vision for continuous school improvement and achieve measurable goals. Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills that promote transparency, a sense of belonging, and a unified leadership voice. Values aligned with middle school philosophy and International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Exceptional ability to build and sustain positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community to advance the Principal’s and District's shared goals. Deep understanding of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process and experience leading specialized programming to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all learners. Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.
