The Pearl River School District is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve in the position of Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Community Services. This cabinet level position will report directly to the Superintendent of Schools and oversees all aspects of human resources, including, but not limited to the hiring process, observation and evaluation of faculty and staff, compliance with NYSED and Civil Service Rules and Regulations, labor relations, contract negotiations, etc. In addition, this position oversees the Parent University program, Adult Enrichment program, district communications, records management, and website.The Pearl River School District is located in Rockland County, NY, approximately 20 miles north of NYC. Pearl River School District employs approximately 400 administrators, faculty and staff serving nearly 2400 students across five schools. The district is well known for its high academic performance and outstanding support from parents and the community.Minimum qualifications: Candidates will have a track record of successful building and/or district leadership experience and must be NYS certified.
