The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic High School Spanish Teacher to join our team at Port Chester High School.Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective Spanish instruction to students in grades 9-12.Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student proficiency in Spanish language and culture.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.Qualifications:Valid New York State Teaching Certification in Spanish 7-12.Demonstrated knowledge of Spanish language, literature, and culture.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.Prior teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
