DescriptionThis title requires the applicant to have in-depth, comprehensive and appropriate business-related (not clerical or support staff) work experience. Experience may include, but is not limited to, management, marketing, accounting/finance, or other operations relevant to business or sustaining the delivery of goods or services. Experience may also include engaging in entrepreneurship (e.g., identifying, developing and executing business opportunities for profit or non-profit entities) or working for an organization directly responsible for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver engaging and relevant business education curriculum to middle school students.Foster an understanding of fundamental business principles, including management, marketing, accounting/finance, and operations.Introduce concepts of entrepreneurship and encourage students to identify and develop business opportunities.Integrate real-world business experiences and case studies into lessons.Guide students in exploring high school CTE business pathways, such as virtual enterprise programs.Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive and cohesive CTE program.Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business education.Adhere to all school and district policies and procedures.Certification: Business CTE certification
