Job Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of:Research, application, reporting and management of grants including all state and federal funding, residency, homeless education, enrollment management, student registration, residency verification, kindergarten screening, personnel and hiring, negotiations, Title IX, APPR staff evaluation, functions of Chief Technology and Information officer, coordination and liaison services with state and federal agencies Areas of District Leadership and Responsibility:Collaborate With the Assistant Superintendent to Evaluate District Principals and Oversee Curriculum and Instruction K-12Oversee Annual Professional Performance Review ProgramCollaborate with the Executive Director of Human Resources to enhance College/University and Community partnerships and Future Teacher PipelineCollaborate with the Assistant Superintendent to Oversee Federal Title IA, IIA, III, IV, Immigrant Aid, MV Homeless, and School Improvement Grants programsContribute to District Budget Development ProcessProvide Leadership Support for the Executive Director of Human Resources for Professional Development related to Curriculum and Instruction and Special ProgramsOversee Implementation of special programs (e.g.: Imagine Learning, ARC, Innovare, Essential Agreements, etc.)Oversee NYS and local assessment and testing accountabilityOversight of NY State standard alignment and curriculum mapping and all mark reporting and grading K-12 (report cards, progress reports, parent-teacher conferences) Data Oversight and LeadershipCollaborate with the Assistant Superintendent for Leadership Team DevelopmentLeadership for Alignment of programs and support for: Dual Language, Special Education, and Technology (instructional software and coaches) departmentsOversight of and Support for Standardized Comprehensive MTSS/RTI programCoordination with CBOs for Extended Day Services and OpportunitiesCollaborate with Cabinet to oversee Residency Verification, Transfers, and Student Homeless program servicesCollaborate with Public Relations ServicesCollaborate with the Assistant Superintendent and Members of the Superintendent’s Cabinet to Oversee Federal Title VI, VII, and IX Officer, Civil Rights investigations/complianceOversee Private and Parochial School ServicesOversee Home Schooling ProgramsOversee Centralized Enrollment and RegistrationServe as the Chief Information OfficerSupport the Superintendent for Supervision of Directors of Health/PE/Athletics, Special Education, Human Resources, ELL & Bilingual Programs, and Assistant Superintendent for BusinessLeadership support for District Principals, and Curriculum Office (Directors/Supervisors) strategic planning committeesDistrict Research Review Committee ChairDistrict Calendar Committee ChairMember of the District Collective Bargaining / Negotiations TeamCollaborate with Building Administrators for Global Competency, Character Education, and Networked Student Support ProgramsAll other duties as determined by the Superintendent Please apply on OLAS by Monday, April 10, 2023.
