District Wide Position: Executive Director of Human Resources Certification Required: NYS SDL Qualifications: Documented record of success in the following areas:Building bridges of communication and collaboration with community groups and organizations in order to increase parental involvement and garner community support.Communicating with various private, public and legal entities to develop appropriate contracts and Memoranda of Agreement and Understanding.Communicating effectively with parents, students, and other constituent groups. Taking initiative to organize, administer, and report on complex, large scale and long-term projects, organizations and functions.Grants, fiscal, and/or funding management over large-scale venues.Leadership with technology and data systems including instructional and administrative technology and digital tools for personnel and student data management.High standards of ethical and equitable leadership.Analyses and presentation of complex data to drive instructional improvement.Evaluation of certificated and other staff to improve instructional effectiveness and student services.Experience as both a teacher and educational leader.Promulgating prestige of an educational institution or organization.Job Responsibilities:Coordinate Teacher Professional Development and Teacher Induction (includes chairing the District PD committee, creating and analyzing all feedback and needs assessment survey data, planning Superintendent's Conference Days and other Professional Development opportunities, and aligning needs based on data with options provided. Also includes accountability: attendance at PD days and implementation of new learning, and overseeing the budget for these options.)Collaborate with Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent on Leadership Development and Accountability (including options for leadership learning, accountability for implementation of new learning, and facilitating various aspects of Leadership Team meetings) Teacher Recruitment and Teacher RetentionActive Participant and Lead learner on PD CommitteeUse of Data for Staff Attendance and EngagementPartnerships with Colleges and UniversitiesManage Interview process and necessary trainingFederal Title VI, VII, and IX Officer, Civil Rights Investigations/ComplianceOversee and facilitate APPR/observation process/evaluationsManage staff resources and mental health opportunitiesPlan district wide events that promote staff engagement and moraleOffer Professional Learning Community/Circle OpportunitiesCoordinate Student Teachers - Build pipeline of strong candidatesBuild Bridges of Communication and Collaboration with community groups and organizationsBuild Capacity within our district to mentor and grow strong leadersTraining and retraining administrators on the observation process to ensure consistency across the district and withing the schools.Promotion of staff extended learningMentor Program for teachers and administrators (oversight, planning, and follow through on all aspects, including chairing the Mentor Committee)Substitute teachers (developing a plan to increase our pool of substitute teachers and improve the substitute teacher experience)Engage staff and community to uphold the goals and vision of the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education by working to increase student outcomes and to promote inclusive excellence for all Duties as determined by the SuperintendentPlease apply on OLAS.
