ANTICIPATED POSITIONS AVAILABLE 2025-2026 POSTING # 151-25-26 APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 3, 2025 POSITION: Middle School Musical Production Team(Director, Vocal Director, Choreographer, Stage Crew Manager, and Producer) RESPONSIBILITIES:DirectorOversees the overall vision, concept, and execution of the musical.Leads auditions and casting decisions in collaboration with the production team.Plans and supervises rehearsals, ensuring scenes flow smoothly and align with artistic vision.Works closely with vocal director, choreographer, and stage crew manager to coordinate all elements of the show.Guides student actors in character development, blocking, and stage presence.Vocal DirectorTeaches and rehearses all musical numbers with student cast members.Provides vocal coaching to help students with pitch, tone, diction, and projection.Leads music rehearsals and collaborates with the Director to align music with staging.Coordinates with accompanist/musicians as needed for rehearsals and performances.ChoreographerDesigns and teaches dance and movement sequences for musical numbers.Works with Director and Vocal Director to ensure choreography complements staging and singing.Adapts choreography to skill levels of students while maintaining performance quality.Leads dance rehearsals and provides ongoing coaching on movement and stage presence.Stage Crew ManagerRecruits and trains student stage crew members.Oversees backstage operations including set changes, props, and technical cues.Collaborates with Director and Producer to ensure sets, props, and stage elements are ready for rehearsals and performances.Ensures safety and smooth backstage management during all performances.ProducerManages organizational, financial, and logistical aspects of the production.Oversees budget, fundraising, ticket sales, and publicity.Coordinates communication between school administration, staff, parents, and production team.Supports rehearsal scheduling and ensures all production deadlines are met.Provides overall leadership to ensure the production runs smoothly.
