Anticipated Vacancy EXECUTIVE DIRECTORFOR CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION12 Month Position Effective Immediately The Oyster Bay - East Norwich Central School District has a vacancy for the position of Executive Director for Curriculum and Instruction. The successful candidate will support the Superintendent of Schools to ensure for the effective operation of the school district, specific to, but not limited to, the following major elements or categories: Curriculum and Instruction: Overseeing K-12 curriculum, instruction and assessment to ensure alignment to NYS Learning StandardsInstructional Data: Oversee the use of assessment data to improve student achievementCoordination of Professional Learning: Support the ongoing professional development of school leaders, teachers, and classroom staff to ensure excellence of instructional deliveryPlan, develop, direct and implement the immediate and long-range goals of the district’s instructional program NYS School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) or School District Administrator (SDL or SDA) certificate required.
