ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY 2023 – 2024 SCHOOL YEAR K-12 Supervisor of Guidance The Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as K-12 Supervisor of Guidance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Supervise and evaluate school counselors and assigned staff.Support the development and implementation of K-12 school counseling programs.Support the social emotional learning of all students.Lead regular department meetings.Plan professional development activities for staff.Plan and facilitate parent presentations.Provide interpretation of NYS graduation requirements.Utilize data to inform building and district level decision making in support of positive student outcomes.Oversee the college application process and maintain current knowledge of the college financial aid process.Continue the relationship with and act as a liaison to the College Board.Create support and assist at – risk students. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.Appropriate training, experience and NYSED certification required.
