We are currently undergoing an exciting capital project that includes improving and expanding our CTE spaces and program offerings, making this an ideal time for a dynamic leader to join our team.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Assistant Director of Career and Technical Education to join our leadership team. This role is critical in supporting the ongoing success and future growth of our robust CTE programs. The ideal candidate will be a visionary educator with strong administrative experience who can help lead our organization through an exciting period of expansion and enhancement.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Career and Technical Education in the daily supervision and administration of CTE programs across two campus locationsSupport curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure alignment with industry standards and New York State requirementsFoster post secondary college and training partnerships to drive the development of articulation and dual enrollment opportunities for studentsCollaborate with CTE principals and instructors to enhance program quality and student outcomesParticipate in the supervision and evaluation of instructional staffFoster and expand relationships with business and industry partners to enhance work-based learning opportunitiesAssist in monitoring program enrollment, retention, and completion ratesCollaborate with component school districts to ensure seamless student transitionsAssist in budget development and resource allocation for CTE programsRepresent the organization at local, regional, and state meetings related to CTEQualificationsNYS School District Administrator (SDA) certification requiredExperience with NYS CTE program approval process preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholdersExperience with educational technology and data-driven decision-makingDemonstrated commitment to student success and educational excellenceWhat We OfferOpportunity to be part of a growing, innovative educational organizationCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageProfessional growth and leadership development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentChance to make a significant impact on student career readiness and regional workforce development
