Come work in an exciting and meaningful field helping children with disabilities.We are seeking a School Social Worker to provide an integrated network of student support services to help students succeed in school.You'll do this by:Serving as liaison between home and school by communicating with parents/guardians based on student needs and documenting interventions. Assessing the needs for additional services, such as outpatient counseling or other community based supports, and assisting students and families with the referral process.Participating in parent-teacher conferences in order to assist teachers in handling questions in discussions about students' emotional and behavioral problems.
