Orange-Ulster BOCES is currently seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Teacher to join the Career and Technical Division.The Mechatronics teacher would provide students with theory and practical instruction in Arduino systems, LED circuits, electro-mechanical Rube Goldberg machines, hydraulics, electronic schematic drawing, fiber optic engineering, robotics, programmable logic controllers, and other industry relevant topics. The teacher should be able to help students comprehend complex theories to create advanced technologies and systems which can be showcased in a portfolio for college and professional use. This position will follow the school calendar and a Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 3:15 pm schedule.Job QualificationsThe Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center has an opening for a full-time Mechatronics Teacher. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in Arduino systems, PLC, LED circuits, installation of electrical/electronic equipment and/or the diagnosis and repair of existing equipment.
