CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for student instruction for the Adult Education Practical Nursing Program. QUALIFICATIONS:• RN with MSN (or enrolled in school for the MSN) and at least one year of nursing. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for student instruction for the Adult Education Practical Nursing Program. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Practical Nursing Instructor will:• Work with adult learners in the classroom, lab and at clinical sites.• Expected to act as a student advisor.• Lead classroom learning.• Observe patient care given by students.• Lead pre- and post-conferences.• Communicate with staff concerning student expectations and limitations.• Participate in professional development and team meetings.• Have effective verbal and written communication skills. TIMEFRAME:Annually, August 1st through June 30th. Attendance at graduation is expected. COMPENSATION:• Health benefits available• Same break schedule as CiTi's K-12 school calendar
