GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Oversee district developed media content storage & distribution: Public Access Television, 91.1 WOSS FM, streaming video & audio services (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) and assists with the creation of media content for district use. Maintain audio, visual and media production equipment. Assist with design, purchasing and set up of audio-visual equipment throughout the district. Manage/coordinate installation of AV equipment and resources. Collaborate with Media & Digital Arts teachers in creating content and training students and volunteers in use of various AV equipment utilized in media production program. MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either: (a) two years of experience in the production and operation of video programs; or (b) completion of one year of post high school education, including or supplemented by a minimum of two courses in production and operation of video programs and one year of experience as outlined in (a); or (c) a satisfactory equivalent combination of the foregoing training and experience. NOTE: A Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Video, Video Production, Media Production, Cinema Studies or related field may be substituted for the above requirements. Civil Service exam required. CSEA contractual rate.
