QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certification as a School Counselor, School Social Worker or School Psychologist, previous experience with behavioral coaching, certified trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS)PRIMARY RESPONSIBIITIES:Provides direct Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervention Services (CCEIS) to PK-12 students identified for intervention by the Executive Director of Special Education and Student ServicesConduct training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) for cadre of support staff assigned to provide CCEISCoaching and consultation for CCEIS support staff that provide direct de-escalation intervention for identified students in grades PK-12Director behavioral support and TCIS aligned de-escalation for PK-12 studentsData collection and progress monitoring for PK-12 students identified for intervention by the Executive Director of Special Education and Student ServicesLead the district TCIS aligned professional development for staffDevelop and deliver aligned professional development for staffMonitor the implementation of TCIS for the district, including the monitoring of refresher hours needed by staff, number of staff trained in all 7 buildings, and monthly meetings with the TCIS training and implementation teamOther duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education and Student Services
