The Board of Education is seeking an outstanding educational leader to fill the position of Director of Mathematics, with the successful candidate appointed as soon as possible. This person will report to the Executive Director of Elementary Education and Accountability and the Executive Director of Secondary Education and Personnel. The Director of Mathematics is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the district’s mathematics program, and other areas of responsibility as may be assigned by the executive directors. The primary responsibility of the Director of Mathematics is to collaboratively develop and provide effective administration, supervision, and leadership in designing, implementing and sustaining successful mathematics and compensatory education programs for grades K-12.
