Oriskany Central School DistrictPOSITION OF:Elementary Teacher/MathCertification: Grades 1-6The Math Interventionist will possess a strong mathematical foundation in teaching math for understanding. The teacher will be responsible for supporting student achievement in the area of Mathematics with special attention to Tier II and III instruction. The Interventionist will provide differentiated, small group instruction to students who are struggling academically. This position is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance. The teacher will use data to provide instruction and, optimally, increase student skills to grade level. This position also requires facilitation of math data meetings, tri-annually. A full time position under the Oriskany Teacher Association Contract Will report directly to the N.A.
