New York State Certification in General Education/Special Education/Students with Disabilities OR if without a valid certificate, those who are working towards one of those certification’s (taking college coursework) at a rate of not less than six semester hours per year. Must be willing to both work with, and seek to increase their sensitivity and competency in working with clients with diverse characteristics. This position is for a 10 month school year and 6 week summer program. Hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 5pm for staff conferences.
