ANTICIPATED VACANCYPosition: Director of Facilities, Maintenance, and TransportationThis position may be filled on a provisional basis pending completion of civil service requirements.Effective Date: July 2024Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000, commensurate with education and experience Interview Procedure: The interview committees will interview selected candidates and a finalist will be recommended to the Superintendent. Minimum Qualifications: Either (a) Bachelor’s degree or higher in facilities management, engineering, engineering technology, building construction technology or a related field and three (3) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the skilled trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, and three (3) years of supervisory experience; or(b) Associates degree in facilities management, engineering, engineering technology, building construction technology or a related field and five (5) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the skilled trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, and three (3) years of supervisory experience; or(c) Graduation from high school or possession of a comparable diploma and eight (8) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the skilled trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, and three (3) years of supervisory experience; or(d) An equivalent combination of training and experience as indicated in a), b) and c) above.To apply submit Oneonta Civil Service application, and reference sheet in OLAS or in writing to: Reggie McGuinness31 Center StreetOneonta, NY 13820Civil Service applications are available on the Oneonta City School District Website:oneontacsd.org>District>Human Resources>Civil Service Application Application deadline: May15, 2024 EOE
