Incumbent will perform budgetary duties on financial and fiscal related computer software systems. The work is performed under the direct supervision of an administrative or department director. Does related work as required.TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: (Illustrative only)Prepares and reviews budgets and revenue balances to ensure compliance with guidelines including but not limited to: cost reports, monthly reconciliations, staff allocations, reporting budget reviews with department leaders and budget monitoring.Coordinates the preparation of supporting budget documentation, including revenue projections, statistical data and other fiscal information;Assists with purchasing policy, budget adjustments and service request;Compiles, reviews and enters in financial management system and excel for budget development process;Consults with department leaders to review their developing budgets;Reviewing budget reports for cost analyst including payroll and benefit information;Create and process attendance from the absence management system on a weekly basis and updating attendance tracking spreadsheets for bi monthly review;Assists the Treasurer, Payroll Benefits Specialist, and Accounts Payable Departments as needed; Processing and creating monthly billing;Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with policies and procedures;Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions to remain current on the principles, practices and new developments in assigned work areas;Performs other related duties as required.FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of modern methods used in maintain financial accounts and records; working knowledge on the use of the computer and software associated with spreadsheets, word processing, and account keeping programs; working knowledge of budget, purchasing of payroll procedures, working knowledge of budget, purchasing, and payroll procedures; working knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment; ability to understand collective bargaining agreements; ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions; ability to make arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately; ability to work with others as part of a team; clerical aptitude, mental alertness, a high degree of accuracy in carrying out functions of the job; neatness, integrity, tact and confidentiality
