Position: one (1) full-time, 10-month, Probationary, Teacher Unit position located at OAOC in Milford.Qualifications and Responsibilities: Applicants must possess or be eligible for a NYS Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification. High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of paid occupational experience or an associate’s degree or higher in a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ paid experience required. Applicants must be able to provide proof of paid occupational experience. NYSED fingerprint clearance required.ONC BOCES will assist the chosen applicant in obtaining the required NYS teaching certification if needed.Teach the New York State approved Culinary Arts curriculum and prepare students to take industry certification exams. Student population consists of students enrolled in 11th and 12th grade, as well as adults. Class consists of theory and lab activities performed in our campus kitchen. The teacher will assist students in reaching the goal of learning the essential skills and attributes needed to be successful in the food and restaurant industry.
