Oneida City School District is seeking a qualified candidate to lead the District’s Transportation Department. This is a supervisory position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of buses in a school transportation system comprising of approximately 38 buses and six separate school buildings. Oneida has a completely leased fleet, indoor bus storage, and an on-site repair facility operated by BOCES. The work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Support Services, allowing considerable leeway for independent judgment.Preference given to candidates with experience in computerized bus routing systems. Successful candidates will have an appropriate CDL license and 19-A certification. Knowledge of State and Federal Laws governing school bus transportation is essential.
