We are looking for a Summer School Regents Review Teacher to provide targeted instruction to prepare students for the August Regents Examination in Chemistry. The program consists of a 10-day review session held Monday through Thursday from July 30th through August 17th. Teachers will design and deliver engaging lessons that reinforce key mathematical concepts and test-taking skills aligned to the New York State Regents standards. Instruction should focus on addressing learning gaps while building student confidence and readiness for the examination. Teachers will utilize Regents-style questions, data-informed instructional practices, and formative assessments to monitor student progress. The successful candidate will create a positive, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment that encourages student participation and perseverance. Teachers are expected to maintain accurate attendance records, communicate with summer school administrators as needed, and adhere to all district policies and procedures. Candidates must hold valid New York State certification Chemistry and possess a strong understanding of the Regents curriculum.
