Elementary Special Education Leave Replacement - ICT Class Approx. Start Date: 3/1/2026 We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Special Education Teacher for a leave replacement position in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) class. This role involves working collaboratively to support students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive setting. Ideal candidates will have experience with reading intervention and have training in de escalation techniques, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet academic, social, and behavioral goals.- Use evidence-based instructional strategies to provide differentiated instruction for students with varying abilities and learning styles.- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student.- Implement SPIRE reading intervention to support literacy development and address specific learning needs.- Apply behavior management strategies and interventions, including those aligned with CPI training, to address and support challenging behaviors proactively.- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and achievements, communicating regularly with families about student growth.- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages social-emotional growth, independence, and self-advocacy.
