Library Aide to start immediately through the end of the school year. $16.50/hour, goes up to $17.00/hour on January 1, 2026. Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Teach System. The Library Aide supports the daily operation of the school library by assisting the School Librarian with circulation, organization, student supervision, and instructional support. This role helps maintain an orderly, welcoming, and well-functioning library environment that promotes reading, research, and responsible use of library resources. The Library Aide supervises students during library use and supports the consistent application of school behavior expectations in coordination with the School Librarian.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
