Oceanside High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Physics teacher for a full-time, tenure-track position beginning in September 2025. This position offers the opportunity to teach both Regents and AP Physics courses in a well-resourced and academically-focused high school environment.The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced science department committed to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the New York State P-12 Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS). Instruction is grounded in three-dimensional learning that engages students in real-world phenomena and scientific sensemaking. Candidates must hold valid New York State certification in Physics (7–12). Additional certifications in science are preferred. Highly Competitive starting salary available.
