School based Instructional assistants (IA's) provide support with all aspects of technology, including but not limited to the troubleshooting and repair of devices and classroom technology and software, the deployment and collection of devices, and instructing students, faculty and staff in the use of technology and software applications. More specifically: Coordinate scheduling of students and teachers for the purpose of repair and proper usage of district technology.Assists students and teachers with, and troubleshoots, computer technologies including chromebooks, Ipads, laptops, desktops, etc. and software applications Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.Supports all aspects of Computer Based Testing including SAT, PSAT and Advanced Placement and any local Computer Based AssessmentsSupports, trains, and troubleshoots any and all stakeholders on relevant aspects of Parent Square and ClassLink.Inventories using Resource Manager all computer equipment etc. and maintains all technology e.g. instructional materials, appropriate software, sets up materials for daily activities, etc. during and after hours.Performs routine and preventive maintenance of computer lab and classroom equipment (e.g. dusting, cleaning, reporting of issues, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.Prepares documentation (e.g. reports, instructions, memos inventory charts etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.Remains aware and supports EdLAW 2D Data Privacy requirements Assists all stakeholders with proper device use, backup, and/or restore.Supports the distribution and collection of devices.Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.Support building based daily activities and events as needed.Support district technology initiatives and tasks as needed.The Oceanside School District is a leader in educational excellence and student achievement.
