Location: Crown Road Campus, 4500 Crown Rd, Liverpool, NY 13090Duties: -Support the curriculum usage and implementation in K-8 programs at OCM BOCES. -Provide coaching to special education teachers and teaching assistants to maintain fidelity and integrity of classroom instruction. -Utilize research and past teaching experience to support procedures and policies to ensure all student needs are being met through individualized instruction, and support teachers in tailoring instruction to the specific needs of each student. -Support teachers and teaching assistants in effectively implementing individualized curriculum instruction. -Co-facilitate ELA and Math Department meetings in our K-8 programs with Special Education Administrators. -Work collaboratively with reading coaches and teachers to support implementation of reading assessments, reading interventions, and monitor progress. -Provide professional development for teachers and teaching assistants Qualifications: NYS certification in Special Education. Experience in supporting reading and math instruction at the elementary level. Mentor teacher and/or coaching experience preferred. Ability to multi-task and manage several long- and short-term projects simultaneously. Ability to collaborate, solicit and consider input, guide others, and meet deadlines. Experience teaching Amplify CKLA preferred.
