Location: Itinerant Cincinnatus (50%) and Westhill (50%)Duties: The ideal candidate will facilitate English language acquisition and support cultural integration for students from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include providing targeted language learning and academic support in content classrooms, assessing student language proficiency, and collaborating with classroom teachers to create a welcoming and affirming environment conducive to learning. The ENL Teacher will also design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ needs, monitor and evaluate student progress, and provide individualized instruction as necessary. Additionally, this role will involve fostering communication with families to strengthen home-school connections. Qualifications: - New York State certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) - Experience with multilingual learners preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
