Division: Instructional Support ServicesLocation: Itinerant Cincinnatus (50%) and Westhill (50%)Duties: Work with students to support learning English language and culture; support students within the academic classrooms for learning content. Identify the needs of the students including hiring translators, providing interpreters, etc. Assist classroom teachers in learning about the incoming students’ culture and guiding the teachers with their interaction with the parents based on cultural expectations. Administer NYSESLAT to determine English language proficiency.Qualifications: NYS certification in English Language Learning required.Salary: $60,625 base salary. Credit will be given for experience and educational preparation.
