OCM BOCES is seeking applicants to fill a unique high school Firefighting and EMT teacher position. The two-year program offers exciting and rigorous training-based opportunities for 11th and 12th grade students who wish to explore a future in firefighting and emergency response services. The instructor will be responsible for teaching the curriculum, and will partner with emergency services personnel to support students in receiving industry training and gaining hands-on experience. Candidates with teaching certification in Emergency and Fire Management Services, or individuals with three or more years of experience in the emergency services field, are encouraged to apply.
