Duties: The Data Integration Specialist performs activities related to integration of data and systems to build and maintain data operations that ingest, transform and provide data across various sources. Work is performed under the general supervision of an assigned manager with leeway allowed for the use of independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work. Does related work as required. The position(s) will be part of the Educational Data Services Department at the CNYRIC.Qualifications: A. Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Database Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Management or a closely related field; OR,B. Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university to one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Database Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Management or a closely related field, and two (2) years of work experience, or its part time equivalent, using computerized datasets; OR,C. Four (4) years of work experience, or its part-time equivalent, using computerized datasets.Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required examination and being reachable on the Data Integration Specialist eligibility list
