Instruct high school juniors and seniors interested in learning and applying nursing skills and practices in the health care field. Students will complete requirements for the New York State Nurse Aide Certification including training in long-term care and replication of clinical experiences. Students will study the health foundations portion of the program which includes medical terminology, patient care, anatomy, etc. RN license required. NY State certification in health-related CTE subject. Two years of experience in a long-term care setting is desirable.
