Initially responsible for the transition of administration of Section III to OCM BOCES and ongoing coordination with Section leadership. Responsible for leadership, planning, communication and coordination of the athletic programs in the Section III geographic region of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. This position provides the administration, development, implementation and evaluation of the athletic programs throughout the entire region. The Director of Section III Athletics will ensure equitable and safe competition for all students. Included in this position are fiduciary responsibilities that include budgeting, purchasing, a thorough understanding of Cooperative Service Agreements, and all other duties as assigned. To be located at the Section III Office, Brittonfield Park & OCM BOCES Main Campus, and possible satellite office. Potential contribution to a retirement plan exists between the successful candidate and Section III.
