The CTE Laboratory Technician program covers 21st Century commercial laboratory and biological concepts, skills, and knowledge expected of Lab Tech professionals. These include operational knowledge of complex instrumentation and laboratory equipment, collecting samples/data, and conducting a variety of research studies where results are analyzed and conclusions drawn. Skills covered include phlebotomy/blood draw, infection control processes and procedures, and use of microscopes.
