Nyack Public Schools is currently accepting applications for an opening in Nyack Middle School (6-8) for a Library Media Specialist. Interested candidates should meet the following criteria:Have experience in the setup and maintenance of an exemplary library media academic program and space at the secondary levelHave experience with the use and distribution of electronic resources and applicationsHave strong knowledge of STEAM, Maker Space, design thinking, problem based learning, use of instructional innovative space, and integration of technologyHave experience with Google Apps for EducationBe enthusiastic, organized, energetic, welcoming and helpful with excellent management skills of a large spaceHave experience working with a library budget;Have NYS certification as a Library Media Specialist (required)
