Nyack Public Schools is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure track Music Technology and Instrumental Music Content Support position serving middle school (grades 6-8) students in a vibrant, diverse community for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching music technology/electronic music and instrumental music specialized small group instruction for students in grades 6-8,with an emphasis on music literacy, students' social emotional well-being, equity, and social justice. Applicants must show proficiency in both band and orchestra instruments. Qualities required include: Departmental, Building, and District-wide collaboration, excellent communication skills, and culturally responsive teaching. Candidates must be certified in NYS Music Education; additional ce1iifications such as Kodaly, Orff and/or Dalcroze, or other relevant training pertaining to the position are highly encouraged.
