Nyack Public Schools is seeking candidates for a long term leave replacement position for a High School Strings Teacher from October 24th, 2022 through June 30th, 2023. The successful candidate will teach High School String Orchestra, High School Chamber Orchestra, Studio (electronic) music, and specialized small group instruction support for other music ensembles at the high school level.Candidates must be certified in Music Education and should demonstrate strong knowledge of string pedagogy, outstanding conducting/rehearsal skills, strong knowledge of appropriate string repertoire, and effective use of technology in the classroom.
